Indigo, along with Pride in Practice, has delivered its largest training and educational event to-date on transgender health.
The session welcomed GP practices from Oldham Central Primary Care Network, which saw practice teams learn about and share best practice on clinical and non-clinical aspects of trans health in primary care.
Dr Luke Wookey, GP and Indigo Gender Service clinical lead, said it was excellent to reach such a wide audience of primary care professionals who were keen to learn and change their practice.
“Each team took away an action plan to make their own practice more trans friendly based on the information and learning from the session.”
