At Indigo we see people in order of their referral date.

We’re currently contacting people who were referred directly to Indigo in September 2023. 

We’ll keep you up-to-date here as we move through our referral list. Please note that this date does not apply to waiting list transfers from the children's gender service, or to Transfers of Care* from other GICs.

It is not possible to transfer referrals between adult GICs in England and preserve the time you have already waited. If you'd like to confirm that we have your referral, please get in touch, particularly to confirm your contact details. We will then contact you when an appointment becomes available.

*Transfer of Care - are when a patient who has already been diagnosed at an NHS adult GIC can transfer their treatment to another GIC without having to start over again on the main waiting list."
